I am Giulio Maddii, also known as Mad Dj.
I was born in Montevarchi, a small town between Florence and Arezzo. Since I was a little boy I have grown up by listening to music: I was fascinated by all the vinyls I had at home! My father played guitar and my brother and my sister are professional dancers, so at 7 years old I started studying jazz drum, which has helped me with the sense of rhythm.
In 2013 I started buying professional equipment to create small shows. From this time on, music became not only a passion but also a profession. In 2015 I had my first experience as resident dj in a famous discotheque of my zone. In the next 5 years I worked in some of the most important clubs of Tuscany and at the same time I worked for several exclusive weddings and private events.
Today I work together with several Italian and foreign wedding planners and agencies, who plan high-class events.
During the years I made people dance from all over the world! As Dj Mad I work mainly in Tuscany, Umbria and Liguria, but I am avalaible for events all over Italy.
As well as being a Dj, I am also a sound engineer and light designer, with each location inspiring me to create a different set up. The light is staged in order to give great attention to details, trying to enhance the peculiarity of each location. Key words: make fun and bring happiness!
